Spinnovex 2006
16 - 21 Jan 2006 was spinnovex week. It is basically a week for the MM and EEE students to showcase their projects. The special are highlighted in the tent area, while the not so popular projects are hidden in the deserted workshop area. As mine is a giant and noisy and ugly looking project, it is hidden inside the workshop area with the majority. For the past few days, other than the judges, i dun see any visitors coming to our area except for our very supportive frens visiting us. Actually even if i see public visitors, i sometimes dun bother entertain them.haha.
The judges asked a lot of questions which u will never imagine. Sometimes we are too stun to answer, so we juz bluff our way through, at least to save our ass for this exhibtion. The judges are really Very Important People, as they will determine whether u get an award for your project. Although getting an award does not guarantee a good grade at the end, at least it means your effort is not wasted for the week. My ugly coffin burner project (claimed by many frens who saw it) was lucky to get a silver award. Actually it was supposed to an automatic loading and unloading project but it look so much like the machine in the crematorium.
I just realised that i din take much photo in my formal attire and also with my frens. Haiz wasted. Even the most important and nicest photos were lost in digicam due to mysterious reason yet to find. Very sad leh. Erm next time i must be not be so shy to take more photos liao.
